LoRaWan Network and Water Meters in Sandnessjøen
Alstahaug was a pioneer and one of the first municipalities in Norway to implement a LoRaWan network for water meters on a larger scale. They have been effective users of our solutions for many years. The municipality uses Europe's best-selling piston meter, the V200 with LoRaWAN.

While many municipalities were uncertain about what the next generation of solutions could offer, Alstahaug was an early adopter and chose LoRaWAN. So early, in fact, that they initially purchased some meters from Øwre-Johnsen that did not meet the expected quality. This issue was well-followed and corrected, and since then, Honeywell V200 – piston meters with LoRaWAN have performed well for this municipality.
With Divako, they have an overview of all meters that are connected to the network, and which are out of coverage. Over time, the network has been developed to cover increasingly larger areas. Although this is not one of the largest municipalities in Norway, they have dedicated personnel who are supported by Øwre-Johnsen / Divako and are now strong ambassadors for our solutions.

We build new APIs so efficiently that we very rarely charge any fees for the establishment of new APIs. It’s your data—we help you get it where you want it!
Data from battery-powered sensors is transferred in an extremely compressed format. The data capsules need to be decrypted and decoded. We call this decoding parsing. In Divako, parsing is included for all well-known water meters on the Norwegian market. This includes all data from the meters, of course including hourly values (where available in the package) and alarms.
Divako does more than just unpack packets. We also harmonize data so that it is ready for export/API to other applications. This is a demanding operation that can be cumbersome and time-consuming to handle from scratch for an individual customer. Use Divako, and all this is included!
We provide you with everything you need to have full control over your sensors. In the solution, you can see status over time and easily evaluate whether the measures you take on the network side have the desired effect on coverage. You can also check the redundancy in your network by seeing whether a sensor communicates through one or multiple gateways.

Our solution is robust and reliable. Today, we have several thousand digital sensors installed in municipalities, commercial buildings, housing cooperatives, condominiums, and private homes.

Send data directly to prepared and finalized APIs for Norkart / Komtek, Crayon, or other systems. Water temperature from swimming spots, directly to YR? We have an API for this and send data to other systems very cost-effectively!
